Atharva Events was founded by Hemen Sarma & Priyanka Bhargav. The two share a conviction that the events industry in Northeast India deserves a different kind of player. One with a designer's eye, a craftsperson's hands, and a founder's accountability.
Between them, they bring a depth of experience in creative production, client relationships, and operational execution. Every event they touch reflects their belief that the details are not extras — they are the experience.
Based in Guwahati, they serve clients across Assam, the North East, and the rest of India — and increasingly, families planning destination weddings and heritage experiences anywhere in the subcontinent.
Why Atharva?
Atharva is the fourth and most mystical of the four Vedas — the Atharvaveda. It is associated with sacred knowledge, the transformation of the ordinary into the meaningful, and the rituals that bind life's most important moments together.
We chose this name because it reflects exactly what we believe an event should be. Not a transaction. Not a service. A ritual. Something that carries meaning long after the last guest has gone home.
